Just came with my family after a long while of not having been back. Service was initially slow for taking drink and food orders but once orders were in, the food actually came out pretty quickly. It was a Friday night, 6:30pm so they were pretty busy. Our server was attentive and friendly. The food was great - we all enjoyed, especially my 2 year old who loved the chicken satay, fried rice, and orange chicken. I'll be back.
So, I have been coming here for 5+ years. Love the owners literally mum n pop fam owned w/ kids helping from time to time. Even the staff have been there for a long time. The food here is quality food for the price. I love the Thai chilis and the flavors. Oddly I've had many people try this place w/ me and everyone believes their orange chicken is the best orange chicken w/ white meat and great flavor. Everything is pretty solid here. My friend loves their pumpkin curry, her fave. I've had their curry noodles; rich, pad Thai, khee mao? rad na, prik king? pineapple, crab and Thai fried rice yum. But my go to is always Tom kha and pad see ew. I think I always pick this place for comfort and hunger that I always end up eating my food quickly before being able to take a pic. Big portions and I'm a big eater, but always have some left overs which I'm so happy to eat the next day. I'm already wanting to buy again when I just bought this. Needless to say great food, great people and it's pretty fancy/nice ambiance in here. They've been here for I would think 10+ years and they're doing something great when they have a lot of regulars/supporters. Please support the family and staff as they're wonderful people!!
Love love love this place for their Thai dishes especially the drunken noodles but the money bag appetizers here are always done so perfect! Highly recommend if you have never tried !!!! Great atmosphere great service and local! Definitely will be coming back!
Nayada Thai Cuisine is my go-to place for thai food in my area. The food is delicious with great flavor. Their lunch specials on weekdays are a great value as it comes with soup and dessert. I usually like to take my orders to go. I've ordered a lot of the menu here. If you're coming here for the first time, here's what I'd recommend: IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE HEAT: Thai fried rice: Fried rice packed with herbs and aromatics. It's nice. Crying Tiger Steak: Though pricey, it's nice to have steak with rice and their addictive sauce. Tom Kha Gai soup: One of my favorite dishes at the restaurant, this is their lemongrass coconut soup with your choice of chicken or shrimp. This is sweet, sour, and spicy (if you dare). Pad see Ew with crispy pork: Rice noodles with chinese broccoli and crispy pork, this is a really delicious noodle dish that i'd recommend. IF YOU CAN HANDLE HEAT: PAD PRIK KING with Crispy Pork: Sauteed green beans in spicy red curry and crispy pork. Papaya Salad: Quintessential Thai dish featuring green papaya in fish sauce, peanuts, shrimp. It's sweet, sour, salty, spicy - the combo of flavors that you get in real thai food is so amazing. Soft shell crab panang curry: What's not to like about peanutty red curry with crab? My only gripe is that I always ask for my dishes spicy here and it isn't always consistent. I'm so glad that I can get high quality thai food at a local place. This always satisfies my thai food cravings.
Yellow Curry was good but not exceptional. I do love curry, but particularly yellow curry about a eight spice level.
Have been here several times for both dine in and to go. Service is always great. Dining area is nicely decorated. Each time I stop in I try something new. The Thai Lime Ice Tea is amazing and I highly recommend it. The parking lot in front is a little small but if you head to back of lot they do have additional parking.
This charming, family-owned restaurant is a true gem in the community, and it's clear from the moment you step through the door that you're in for something special. The atmosphere at Nayada Thai is incredibly inviting, thanks to the genuinely warm and enthusiastic staff who greet you with open arms. The sense of family and community is palpable, making every visit feel like coming home. The owner's vibrant personality shines through in every interaction, adding a personal touch that enhances the overall dining experience. When it comes to the food, Nayada Thai truly excels. The golden Bag Dumplings are a standout dish that I highly recommend. These dumplings are crafted to perfection, with a delightful balance of flavors and textures that make each bite a real treat. They're a must-try for anyone who visits. Equally impressive is their fried rice, which is nothing short of amazing. Each grain is cooked to perfection, packed with fresh ingredients, and bursting with flavor. It's clear that a lot of care and expertise goes into every dish. The drink options at Nayada Thai are also fantastic, offering a variety of choices that complement the meal beautifully. Whether you're in the mood for a classic Thai iced tea or something more adventurous, you won't be disappointed. Nayada Thai is a shining example of a small family-operated business that truly deserves recognition. Their dedication to quality, community, and hospitality makes them stand out in Long Beach. If you're in the area, make sure to stop by and experience the warmth and exceptional cuisine for yourself--you won't regret it!
Place is very trendy and relaxing , very great atmosphere. Food was great , very fast and good taste , the clear noodles soup was so right to hit anyone light soup . Friendly staff , but there was a waiter with a little attitude when taking our order , I felt like he didn't like us to be here and was forced to take our order , oh well , but the waitresses were super .
The best Thai place to visit! Ultra delicious food and all are fairly priced. The ambiance is also very warm and welcoming. One of us was raving about how good the food here is, so we all made our way to this cozy restaurant in Lakewood. There were three of us and we ordered a pot of Tom Kha Kai, one order each of Golden Bags, Veggie Summer Rolls, Pad See Ew, Mango Delicious, Papaya Salad and of course, the must-have Sweet Sticky Rice with Mango. Our table was so full of food -- we all were full and content, and were so pleasantly surprised that our individual bill was only over $30 (with tips). Totally, totally recommendable.
